A Stone Ridge Lower School girl is joyful, kind, and curious. In learning about herself and the world around her, she will learn to embrace the Goals of Sacred Heart education.

What do you like most about SR?
The people are my favorite part of Stone Ridge. I love my friends and my teachers. They are so nice and help each other.

What is your favorite favorite subject?
Art because I love to draw and create. And I love PE because we do cool activities.

What part of the day do you enjoy?
I really like all the specials. Art, Music, French, and PE are so fun.

What is your favorite SR tradition?
Congés! Last year the teachers surprised us with a teacher talent show and we laughed so much.

What do you like most about SR?
Stone Ridge is really focused on bringing everybody together as a community. The School helps me form a close bond with my classmates and teachers.

What is your favorite favorite subject?
I love Language Arts because it helps me express my opinions through writing.

What part of the day do you enjoy?
I enjoy our break the most because I can socialize with my friends. During break, I can also give my mind and body a break from class.

What do you do when you are not in school?
When I am not in school, I like to either read, practice lacrosse, or hang out with my friends.

What is your favorite SR tradition?
Feast Wishes is definitely my favorite Stone Ridge tradition because it is a great way to celebrate the holidays. Singing Christmas carols and listening to other students perform just makes me happy.

What do you like most about SR?
I like my teachers. They are always supportive and encourage me to succeed in both schoolwork and after-school activities.

What is your favorite favorite subject?
My favorite subject is Art. I love trying different styles of art from various periods. It allows me to have a greater appreciation for it when I see a painting from that art period.

What part of the day do you enjoy?
My best part of the day is when I first come to school and get to chat with my friends before assembly.

What do you do when you are not in school?
I have been playing the cello for about six years. Currently, I am in the Maryland Classic Youth Orchestras, a quartet, and I do a little teaching. The highlight of my cello experience to date has been performing on the stage at Carnegie Hall.

What is your favorite SR tradition?
I love Feast Wishes because it is one of the special times the whole school community comes together in a festive, relaxed setting.
