Justice Antonin Scalia named Commencement Speaker

Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart is pleased to welcome Justice Antonin Scalia as the speaker for the School’s 87th Commencement on June 4, 2015, at Hamilton House, Stone Ridge.

Justice Antonin Scalia is an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States. As the longest-serving justice currently on the Court, Justice Scalia is the Senior Associate Justice. In 1986, Scalia was appointed by President Reagan to the Supreme Court to fill the associate justice seat vacated when Justice William Rehnquist was elevated to Chief Justice.  Justice Scalia and his wife, Maureen, have raised nine children and have 36 grandchildren, two of whom, Megan Scalia ‘15 and Bridget Scalia ‘19, attend Stone Ridge.
