What has SR done for you?
Stone Ridge has offered me numerous opportunities and experiences that have challenged my intellect, enriched my faith, and fortified my friendships. There is, however, one gift Stone Ridge has given me that transcends every positive experience because it both has and will allow me to succeed for a lifetime. My 14 years here have given me confidence and the mindset that I can achieve without limits.

What is your favorite favorite subject?
My favorite subject is violin because it gives me a platform to explore different styles of music and expression. Whether it is arranging a pop song for an orchestra, improvising on the looper, or jamming out on the electric violin, I never run out of fun projects to work on.

Something you are proud of?
I am most proud of the risk I took this past year in joining an all-boys rifle team. The aforementioned confidence that Stone Ridge has given me allowed me to advocate for myself thus earning me a spot practicing with the team. I am so glad that I took a chance and it has paid off greatly.

What is your favorite SR tradition?
My favorite Stone Ridge tradition is all school masses. I love seeing members of all grades participate in the celebration. The sense of community is palpable when we belt out Couer de Jesus as the closing song.

What do you love?
I love that wherever I go, be it domestically or internationally, I meet Sacred Heart students, alumni, or teachers. United by a common tradition, we share an instant connection. I have met Sacred Heart sisters in the most unusual of places, and it always makes the world feel a little smaller.
