The Très Bien Ball, founded in 1953, was created by combining the Stone Ridge Father’s Club graduation dance in 1946 and the Alumnae Association supper dance in 1949. The result was the Très Bien Ball which is not only a celebration with dinner and dancing, but also an opportunity for the students to be formally inducted into the Alumnae Association. This tradition is one that the Fourth Academic class and their families look forward to every year. It is truly a special night for everyone involved.

The event honors the special time in the life of the Fourth Academic students as they near the end of their time at Stone Ridge. By inducting the Fourth Academic into the Alumnae Association, they know that they are alumnae forever, and will always have a home at Stone Ridge and in the broader Sacred Heart community.
