Academics
Choosing the right school, not only for the student, but also for the family, is one of the most important decisions a family can make. Every child is unique, and finding the right educational match is the key to her success. For many girls, a single-sex school is not only the perfect environment for their academic growth, but also for fostering growth in extra-curricular talents, instilling leadership skills, and building self-confidence.
Research has shown that boys and girls learn differently. Teachers at girls' schools are able to capitalize on the girls' learning styles, giving them a strong skill set to build on. In an all-girl classroom, students tend to display their intelligence and curiosity without worry of social stigma. This confidence, especially at a young age, carries with them into their more advanced studies.
