All applicants to Grades Kindergarten and Grade 1 are required to submit WPPSI - IV (Weschler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence) scores as part of their application file.  If the applicant is already six years of age, then she should take the WISC-IV.  These evaluations are done by an educational psychologist.  For your reference, we have compiled a list of testing centers below; however, please feel free to use any testing center of your choice.

Grade 2

Grades 3 - 5

All applicants to Grades 3 - 5 are required to submit ERB/CTP-IV (Educational Records Bureau, Comprehensive Testing Program) and WISC-IV (Weschler Intelligence Scale for Children, Fourth Edition) scores as part of their application file.  The WISC-IV is an evaluation done by an educational psychologist.  For your reference, we have compiled a list of testing centers below; however, please feel free to use any testing center of your choice.

If your daughter has taken the ERB/CTP-IV test in the last six months, Stone Ridge will accept those scores.

For your convenience, the ERB/CTP-IV will be administered at Stone Ridge on on January 10, 2015, at 9:00 am.

Please note:  Once an application is on file, it is necessary to contact the Admissions Office if you would like to register your child to take the ERB at Stone Ridge.  To do so, please email Mary Ruppe Nash, Assistant Director of Admissions, or call 301-657-4322, ext. 431.

Testing Centers (WPPSI and WISC-IV)

Although Stone Ridge does not endorse any testing centers, the following is a list of organizations which provide testing (WPPSI-III and WISC-IV) for school admission purposes.  We ask that the results of the assessment be sent directly to Stone Ridge. Please note that preparation for these tests will invalidate test scores.  To determine which assessment, if any, is required for admission to the grade to which you're applying, please go to the Lower School Checklist page or Middle School Checklist page.
