It has been a pleasure getting to know you throughout the admissions process. We are eager to ensure that your family's transition to our school community is a smooth one.

This web page will provide important information to you as a new SR family. We will update this page regularly with information about the 2015-16 school year and upcoming opportunities to return to campus this spring and summer (welcome events, orientation, Grades 7-9 placement assessments).

Upper School Key Dates

Please read the US Summer letter that was mailed to your home the week of July 13. You can also find the US Beginning of School Year Special Schedules here.

Due July 31: Health Forms must be completed in order to participate in SR athletics tryouts.

Device training: Grade 9 students (and new Upper School students) receive an hour training workshop to get accustomed to their new devices. Please sign up for one training session. If you cannot make the week of August 10, please select one of our make up dates. The sessions are limited in space so please only sign up for the make up date if you cannot make the week of August 10.

Cross Country: If you are interested in running X- Country in the fall, please email Coach Peter Rook. You will be included in the summer training plan and hear from the captains. Cross Country is a no-cut sport; athletes of all levels of experience are welcome.

Academic Calendar for 2015-16

To learn more about Inside SR (the internal parent and student portals), click here for a Reference Guide. Inside SR will be available to our new families in August. New students will receive their access information at the start of school from the Ed Tech team.

The Gator Gallery is our school store located on the 400 level of Hamilton House (available online too!). Team apparel, gym uniforms, and spirit gear are available for purchase here.

Stone Ridge provides several supervised afterschool activities.

Lower School Extended Day

Middle School Supervised Study

Afterschool CampUs

Afterschool CampUs provides enrichment classes for Stone Ridge students in Pre-K through Grade 8, including those who attend Extended Day. Classes may include swimming, Imagination Stage, Girls on the Run, Keyboarding, Tiny Chefs, and more. Registration for fall classes will open in August.

Music Lessons

After school music lessions for students in Pre-K through Grade 12 are offered in bass guitar, woodwinds (flute, clarinet, saxophone), brass (trumpet and trombone), piano, and vocal. Registration will take place in September. Please contact Jamie Golembiewski for more information.

Suzuki Violin training is also offered after school for students in Pre-K through Grade 12 through Silver Strings Suzuki Studio. Registration is ongoing. Please contact Elizabeth Cunha for information about this program.

The Upper School Library is open from 7:00 am-6:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
