49 Upper School students participated in this year’s National Latin Exam. The exam was administered to over 150,000 students in all 50 states and 13 foreign countries. Stone Ridge had it’s best overall school performance in several years, with 25 students across five different levels receiving awards. Laila Carter (1st academic) received a Gold Summa Cum Laude on the Level 1 exam, the highest medal awarded. Five other students received Silver Maxima Cum Laude awards on the Level 1 exam: Katherine Funari (3rd AC), Abby Sweeney (3rd academic), Taylor Haist (1st academic), Olivia Jacocks (1st academic), and Brigid Carey (1st academic). Three graduating seniors, Liz Kane, Annabel Klees, and Katie Suarez, also received Magna Cum Laude and Cum Laude awards on the notoriously difficult Level 5 exam. To see all the winners, please
