This summer, two groups of Upper School students went on adventures in experiential outdoor learning in West Virginia’s Dolly Sods Wilderness with Upper School Science Teacher, Sky Lesnick and Upper School English Teacher, Holly Zindulis. On these six-day, five-night trips, they backpacked the myriad ecosystems of the Dolly Sods, from the spruce forests and mountain laurel thickets of Red Creek to the blueberry fields of the North Sods and the breathtaking views at Rohrbaugh Cliffs and Bear Rocks.
