Your Sacred Heart Journey Starts Here
All Girls. Catholic. Independent.
We are guided by the Goals and Criteria of Sacred Heart Education. With these Goals we commit to educate to a personal and active faith in God, a deep respect for intellectual values, a social awareness which impels to action, a building of community as a Christian value, and personal growth in an atmosphere of wise freedom.
A Purposeful Mission.
Our mission informs all that we do. Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart inspires young women to lead and serve, through lives of purpose that integrate faith, intellect, community, social action, and personal growth in an atmosphere of wise freedom.
Part of the Network of Sacred Heart Schools.
Stone Ridge is one of 24 North American schools in the Network of Sacred Heart Schools, an association of Catholic independent schools in the United States-Canada Province of the Society of the Sacred Heart. There are over 150 Schools of the Sacred Heart in 41 countries. Guided and united by the Goals and Criteria, the Network of Sacred Heart Schools provides a means for mutual support and development among schools through the sharing of intellectual and spiritual resources.
The Society of the Sacred Heart is an international community of women in the Catholic Church, founded in 1800 by Saint Madeleine Sophie Barat. Sharing her vision and mission, Religious of the Sacred Heart (RSCJ) are convinced of the centrality of prayer and contemplation in their lives. They are committed to discovering and making God’s love visible in the heart of the world through the service of education.
In orienting students towards the discovery of their own unique gifts, the graduates are set on a path of discernment, equipped to serve the world with compassion, critical-consciousness, authenticity and hope. Our perspective as Catholic – independent – Sacred Heart Schools impels us to encourage our students to embrace fully their human dignity for the sake of others.
