Traditions

At Stone Ridge, tradition is the thread that weaves through more than a century of history, connecting generations of students and alumnae in a vibrant, enduring sisterhood. From the moment a girl is welcomed into the Blue or Gold team, she becomes part of meaningful rituals that build community and reflect our core values of faith, confidence, and compassion.

Inspired by the vision of our founders, St. Madeleine Sophie Barat, St. Rose Philippine Duchesne, and Janet Erskine Stuart, these traditions are more than cherished events—they are moments that shape who we are and who we aspire to be.
