Upper School Admissions Process

Grades 9–12

Step 1 • Create a Profile in Ravenna

Creating a Ravenna profile will ensure that you receive updates regarding Stone Ridge events and our application process.

Open House

Prospective Upper School families are invited to join us for our Open House on Sunday, October 18, 12:30–3:00 p.m. Attending an Open House is a wonderful opportunity to tour our campus and meet some of our extraordinary faculty, students, and parents. Register for our upcoming Open House via Ravenna.

Gator Gatherings

Parents are invited to register for one of our Gator Gatherings. Join our Head of Upper School and Director of Enrollment Management, as well as other members of our Administration, to learn how the Sacred Heart Goals and Criteria guide our community and drive our mission.

Discovery Day

All prospective Grade 9 applicants are welcome to schedule a Discovery Day. Your visit to our Upper School will provide the opportunity to tour our beautiful 35-acre campus, attend class, meet our students and outstanding faculty, and complete an on-site writing sample. Registration through Ravenna is required and will open on September 1.

All Grade 10 and 11 transfer students will be invited to attend a Discovery Day once an application has been submitted.

Step 3 • Submit an Application

The deadline for Grade 9 applications is Friday, December 4, 2026. All auxiliary documentation, which includes a complete transcript, recommendations, and student questionnaire for Grade 9 students, is due Friday, December 11, 2026. The deadline for prospective transfer students (applications and required documents) is Friday, January 8, 2027.

Step 4 • Assessment

Applicants to Grades 9 and 10 have several ways to fulfill Stone Ridge’s testing requirement. Families submit official score reports from SSAT (7494), ISEE (210252), ERB, or MAP. Assessments must have been administered in the current school year.

High School Transfer Applicants to Grade 11 must submit a PSAT, SAT, or ACT

Step 5 • Apply for Tuition Assistance

If you wish to apply for financial aid, applications are due on January 15, 2027. Application materials are generally available on or around November 1, 2026. Visit the Tuition & Affordability page for additional information and a link to the FACTS application.

Step 6 • Admissions Decisions

A decision will be posted on Ravenna on February 26, 2027, after 4:00 p.m.
