Upper School Admissions Process

Grades 9–12

Step 1 • Create a Profile in Ravenna

Creating a Ravenna profile will ensure that you receive updates regarding Stone Ridge events and our application process.

Step 2 • Visit Us

The best way to get to know Stone Ridge is by visiting us!

Open House

Prospective Upper School families are invited to join us for our Open House, Sunday, October 19, 12:30–3:00 p.m. Attending an Open House is a wonderful opportunity to tour our campus and meet some of our extraordinary faculty, students, and parents. Register for our upcoming Open House via Ravenna.

Discovery Days

All prospective Grade 9 applicants are welcome to schedule a Discovery Day. Your visit to our Upper School will provide the opportunity to tour our beautiful 35-acre campus, attend class, and meet our students and outstanding faculty. Registration through Ravenna is required and will open on September 2. All transfer students will be invited to attend a Discovery Day once an application has been submitted.

Gator Gatherings

Parents are invited to register for one of our Gator Gatherings. Join our Head of Upper School and Director of Enrollment Management as well as other members of our Administration to learn how the Sacred Heart Goals and Criteria guide our community and drive our mission.

Step 3 • Submit an Application

The deadline for Grade 9 applications is Friday, December 5, 2025. All auxiliary documentation, which includes a complete transcript, recommendations, and student questionnaire for Grade 9 students, is due Friday, December 12, 2025. The deadline for prospective transfer students (applications and the required documents) is Friday, January 9, 2026.

Step 4 • Take the Stone Ridge Assessment

Once an application has been submitted, prospective students are able to register for the Stone Ridge Assessment. The assessment is an exercise in reading comprehension, writing, and verbal reasoning. Although the assessment is not timed, we anticipate it will take about one hour to complete (with a maximum of two hours).

Step 5 • Apply for Tuition Assistance

If you wish to apply for financial aid, applications are due on January 15, 2026. Application materials are generally available on or around November 1, 2025. Visit the Tuition & Affordability page for additional information and a link to the FACTS application.

Step 6 • Admissions Decisions

A decision will be posted on Ravenna on February 27, 2026, after 4:00 p.m.
