Extended Day
Stone Ridge offers after-school care for students in the Lower and Middle Schools, providing a safe, supervised environment for students to relax, work, and connect with friends after the school day.
Prices for the 2026–2027 school year will be available soon. Rates are expected to remain very similar to the current year, with only slight adjustments based on the number of Extended Day days in the school calendar.
Financial aid is available for Extended Day at the same percentage as tuition (up to 75%).
Lower School (Pre-K–Grade 4)

Daily drop-in care is not available for Lower School students.
Discounted rates are available for families who enroll for the full year or full month.
Registration is first-come, first-served and must be completed by the 15th of the month prior to when care is needed.
Early Release & Weather Closures
Extended Day does not operate on days with early dismissal due to inclement weather or snow days. On some scheduled Early Release days, Extended Day will operate until 1:00 p.m. (advanced online registration required).
Late Pick-Up Policy
Students picked up after 5:30 p.m. (Monday–Thursday), or 5:00 p.m. (Friday) will incur a late fee of $2.00 per minute, charged to the credit card on file.

Daily Drop-In
A limited number of drop-in spaces are available. Parents must contact Ellen Saltzman by 10:00 a.m. on the day care is needed.
