Gator Strong Summer

The Gator Strong Summer Program 2018 is a functional training and athletic conditioning program to improve overall fitness, strength, agility, and quickness - with an emphasis on injury prevention quality movement patterns.

Gator Strong Athletes will:

  • Build confidence in their abilities
  • Learn how to train and take care of their bodies for optimal performance
  • Create a bond with fellow Stone Ridge girls
  • Be more prepared to excel in the upcoming school year

The Gator Strong program will be open to any Stone Ridge Girl in Grade 8-12, including recent graduates. The programming will be designed to cater to all Stone Ridge girls, with groups for both novice and advanced physical fitness levels. #Gatorstrong

Ability Level

Gator Strong groups will be created based on the ability levels of our participants - for reference, the general characteristics of the groups are highlighted below. Evening groups will be during the same time block, so adjustments between groups will be possible. However, the morning time block during Summer Session II will be restricted to participants that more closely align with the Gator Strong Blue group. Please ask a member of the Stone Ridge Athletic Department if you have any questions about which group you should register for!

Gator Strong Blue
  • Rising Grade 10 - 12
  • Varsity Prospective and Varsity Athletes
  • Individuals with an advanced level of physical fitness
Gator Strong Gold
  • Rising Grade 8 - 12
  • Middle School, Freshmen, JV, Recreational, and General Fitness Athletes
  • Individuals with a novice level of physical fitness

Gator Strong - Summer Session I
Monday - Thursdays
June 11 - June 28
6:00-8:00 pm (GS Blue and GS Gold at the same time, in different groups)
$150 per student

Gator Strong - Summer Session II
Monday - Thursdays
July 9 - July 26
6:00-8:00 am (GS Blue Only)
6:00-8:00 pm (GS Blue and GS Gold at the same time, in different groups)
$150 per student

Students may do both sessions for a reduced rate of $250
