Lacrosse Camp - Grades 2-7

For the third consecutive summer, Stone Ridge is excited to offer a summer lacrosse camp for girls rising into grades 2-7! The camp will take place from Monday, June 10 through Friday, June 14, from 9:00 am-noon each day.

The camp will take place on the Gator Field turf at Stone Ridge, with indoor gym space available for any inclement weather days. The focus of the camp will be to introduce and improve lacrosse skills and conditioning – with plenty of fun games and activities mixed in, such as water games and themed days throughout the week. Snacks will be provided and we will have plenty of water stations. There will be a small coach to camper ratio,  skill-based group instruction and stations, and plenty of small side scrimmaging to keep the girls moving and actively engaged. The rate for the week is $200 per girl.

Instructors

The camp will be staffed by the Carr sisters (Maddie '16, Mollie '18, and Julia '21). Maddie and Mollie currently attend the University of Notre Dame, while Julia is a current sophomore at Stone Ridge. Together, the Carr sisters bring over 30 years of lacrosse playing and coaching experience to the camp, including the high-level experiences of Stone Ridge Varsity and Division I Women's lacrosse.

The Carr girls are very excited to share their lacrosse knowledge, and have tons of fun along the way!

Once registered, you will receive more information prior to the start of camp.

Summer Basketball League - Grades 9-12

Similar to previous years, SR Basketball will be fielding teams in the Metro Stars Girls' 2019 Summer Basketball League during the month of June.

We plan on fielding two teams, one for returning players and one for incoming or new players. Games will be played on Monday and Wednesday evenings throughout June, beginning on Monday, June 3. Game times and locations will be released from the league soon and the SR coaching staff will disseminate those schedules when available.

In addition to the summer league games, the SR Basketball coaching staff will be holding occasional open gym opportunities on Tuesday evenings during June. Additionally, all basketball players will also have the option to participate in our Gator Strong program on Thursday evenings during June. Registration for the July and August Gator Strong sessions are separate and can be completed here. For any questions, please email Coach John Witherspoon at jwitherspoon@stoneridgeschool.org.

All interested players must register for the league below. The payment page will follow after you click "submit".

Thank you!

Registration is now closed for the June Basketball League - please email John Witherspoon or Andrew Maguire with any questions.
