Head Junior Varsity Coach: Kevan Creppy
Kevan Creppy was named Head Coach of the Stone Ridge JV Basketball team in the Fall of 2017. Coach Kevan is a former professional basketball player who played overseas in Guyana and China. He has been coaching in the Montgomery County area since 2010. Coach Kevan played four years of Division I basketball for Bethune-Cookman University located in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference before heading overseas to begin his professional career. Coach Kevan attended James Hubert Blake High School from 2001-2005 where he helped lead his team to a State Championship basketball game. Off the court Coach Kevan is the CEO/Co-Founder of Elite Quality Sports, LLC, a Bethesda-based fitness company providing speed and agility training for multiple sports and high level fundamental basketball training.
Coach Kevan is the father to one son and one daughter who is a "little gator", currently attending Stone Ridge in the nursery program. Coach Kevan's wife, Tavia Burke-Creppy, also works at Stone Ridge as the Middle School Assistant in the Middle School Administrative Office, as well as serving as the Head Varsity Track and Field Coach for the upper school. In his spare time, Coach Kevan enjoys producing music and traveling. Coach Kevan is extremely excited to coach and pass on his passion for the game of basketball to the girls of Stone Ridge!
