Coach Rook began coaching Cross Country at Stone Ridge in 2008, also serving as the Head Coach for Winter Indoor Track and Spring Track & Field for many seasons.

Coach Rook ran at Haverford College under Tom Donnelly where he was a varsity athlete for all 12 seasons and a member of 11 conference championship teams. In both 2000 and 2001 he was the Haverford College Track MVP. He was named to the NCAA DIII Indoor Track All-American team in 2001 for the Distance Medley Relay, and in 2002 for the 1500m. Coach Rook has been coaching youth Track & Field programs since 1997 and previously coached at the Germantown Friends School in Philadelphia, PA.

Coach Rook is also a member of the Upper School faculty at Stone Ridge, teaching Latin, and believes strongly in developing the skills for academic and athletic success concurrently.
