Dear Stone Ridge community,

Stone Ridge honors the vision of our foundress, St. Madeleine Sophie Barat, who knew that by educating women you educate a whole community. The women religious and lay educators of Sacred Heart schools who have followed her mission continue to lead the conversation on the strong role women play in contemporary society. Through the five Goals of Sacred Heart education, Stone Ridge seeks to educate the whole child as a way to prepare her to lead a life filled with purpose and intention.

The timing could not be more fitting for Stone Ridge to transform the heart of our beloved campus. As a Sacred Heart school looking forward to our centennial in 2023, we know that educating young women through our commitment to the Goals and Criteria is not only timeless but timely. Now is the time to create a space for our girls to thrive, and for our faculty and staff to remain at the forefront of innovative and excellent education for girls. Our evolving programs demand enhanced facilities.

The Cor Unum • One Heart Campaign allows Stone Ridge to transform our learning environment in order to meet the dynamic needs of the School’s educational program. We will continue to cultivate an education that is exceptional, relevant, and transformative. Focusing on community, vitality, spirituality, and creativity allows the School to embrace the opportunities and challenges of 21st century education with the same innovative spirit that inspired St. Madeleine Sophie Barat to empower each child to capitalize on her unique potential.

Through this significant project, we will create a campus that serves the heart, mind, and soul of our entire community. The Cor Unum • One Heart Campaign is more than a fundraising effort; it is a promise to invest in the future of our girls. We invite you to join us on this exciting journey and invest in the next century of Sacred Heart education at Stone Ridge by making your pledge to the The Cor Unum • One Heart Campaign.

Warm regards,

Dear Stone Ridge community,

The Cor Unum • One Heart Campaign is an opportunity for each of us to reflect upon our most meaningful connections to Stone Ridge. For some, it is the memories and lessons learned during their time as students. For others, it is the joy of inspiring young women to lead and serve in the Sacred Heart tradition. For many, like us, it is the sense of purpose and countless opportunities that our children obtain at Stone Ridge. As current parents and chairs of The Cor Unum • One Heart Campaign, we cannot think of a more worthwhile investment for the next generation of Stone Ridge girls. We believe strongly in the School’s promise to nurture and develop the whole child in mind, body, and spirit.

We are truly blessed to be a part of the Stone Ridge community with our daughter Sophia and believe this is the most exciting time in the School’s history. While Stone Ridge has always been a leading school in all-girls education in the Washington, DC area, it is imperative to enhance the physical space to maximize the educational opportunities provided. By doing so, we prepare our students to the best of our abilities thus ensuring that girls graduate confident, courageous, and compassionate women.

As campaign chairs, we have the privilege of working with an incredibly devoted team of volunteers who are committed to helping us reach our fundraising goal of $28 million. We feel incredibly fortunate to be a part of Stone Ridge history and hope you will join us on this exhilarating journey.

Sincerely,

Anna Marie Parisi-Trone and Robert Trone
