The Cor Unum • One Heart Campaign

“For me, the Cor Unum • One Heart Campaign is about building an infrastructure to allow the education of future women leaders.”

Overview of potential campus renovation

Cor Unum affectionately refers to St. Madeleine Sophie Barat’s motto for the Society of the Sacred Heart — One Heart and One Mind in the Heart of Jesus. The Cor Unum • One Heart Campaign is about the heart of our Stone Ridge community — fostering an environment for our girls that reflects our Sacred Heart beliefs in the development of the interior life, the nourishment of creative expression, the appreciation of beauty, and the exposure to new thoughts.

With a fundraising goal of $28 million, the Cor Unum • One Heart Campaign is the largest comprehensive campaign undertaken in the School’s history. The building projects within the Cor Unum • One Heart Campaign will transform the heart of campus through the development of a new Student Life Center, Campus Quad and Loop Road, and renovations to current facilities. The Stone Ridge Fund will remain the philanthropic lifeblood of the School.

The Stone Ridge Fund is a critical component of our facility-focused campaign and it is reason the campaign is called “comprehensive.” Stone Ridge Fund dollars raised in one year are spent in that year, making possible the curricular innovation and exceptional teaching we see happening now. Specifically, gifts to the Stone Ridge Fund support our students and faith community, strengthen our faculty, and expand our academic, arts, and athletic programs.
