Alumnae Board

The Stone Ridge Alumnae Association is comprised of over 3,500 women worldwide. Whether or not you graduated from Stone Ridge, all are considered alumnae and members of the Alumnae Association.

The Alumnae Board, consisting of 18 elected members, represents the entire Alumnae Association. The Alumnae Board, in conjunction with the Advancement Team, coordinate events and programs locally, nationally, and even internationally to keep alumnae CONNECTED!

Ann-Casey Campagnolo ’90

Ann-Casey Campagnolo ’90 is a senior retail consulting executive with extensive corporate strategy and business transformation experience, rooted in consumer insights and enabled by leadership, creative thinking and modern marketing approaches. She is credited with building outstanding teams that have proven successful in delivering valuable consumer experiences and driving profitable business growth with reputation for innovation, enthusiasm, and progressive business judgment.

Ann-Casey spent six years as a Stone Ridge Gator and went on to receive a BS in Agriculture and Resource Economics from the University of Maryland at College Park where she served as President of her sorority, Gamma Phi Beta, for two terms and received the University’s Outstanding Student Leader award in 1994.  

She began her retail career in the Buyer’s Training Program at Bloomingdale’s in New York in 1995 and later moving to Saks Fifth Avenue where she held a number of retail buying and merchandise planning leadership roles with increasing spans of control and revenue up to $1B annually.

After 10 years in luxury retail, Ann-Casey moved into retail consulting where she specialized in business process, organization design and change management.  Her work spanned corporate strategy, merchandising, product development, store operations and global sourcing and her clients have included Victoria’s Secret, REI, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, El Palacio de Hierro, Big Lots, Payless, 7-11, and Petsmart.

In 2010, Ann-Casey joined dunnhumby, a global leader in customer data science, gaining experience in the world of big data and focusing on consumer behavior and marketing analytics in retail. As North American Head of Merchandising and Pricing solutions, Ann-Casey led successful client engagements with Macy’s and Kroger/Fred Meyer and consulted on work with Tesco UK and Poland, Raley’s and Monoprix France.

Ann-Casey also worked with Capgemini’s Invent consulting division, a digital innovation and transformation consultancy. As a Principal in the Retail practice, Ann-Casey led a multi-national consulting team in Düsseldorf, Germany focused on an ERP implementation and digital transformation for Aldi, a global discount grocery retailer.

In September 2018, Ann-Casey returned to the work marketing analytics and joined IRI Worldwide as Vice President and Principal. One of the original innovators in big data, IRI integrates the world’s largest set of otherwise disconnected purchase, media, social, causal and loyalty data to help CPG, retail, over-the-counter health care and media companies grow their businesses. And after 20+ years based in the New York area, Ann-Casey returned to Washington, DC area where she now leads IRI’s engagement with Giant Food, a division of Ahold-Delhaize.

Eleanore (Elle) Alexander Cassidy '05

Eleanore (Elle) Alexander Cassidy '05 is a proud graduate of the Sacred Heart, attending Sacred Heart (New Orleans, LA), Stuart (Princeton, NJ), and graduating from Stone Ridge in 2005. Currently, Elle is a Manager of Public Policy and Stakeholder Engagement at McDonald's, focusing on Planet and Food. Previously, Elle worked in the private and non-profit sectors in Washington, DC and New York City, working to improve health through better nutrition and disease prevention. Elle holds a PhD in Health Policy & Management and a Masters of Science in Public Health (MSPH) in Human Nutrition from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and an International Relations Certificate from UMass Amherst. Elle lives in Hinsdale, IL with her husband John, daughter Maeve and their black lab Rosie.

Channing Cooper '02, President

Channing Cooper '02 came to Stone Ridge as a fourth grader. During her 9 years at Stone Ridge, Channing was active with CORE group and the varsity track team. She also served as vice-president of the high school during her senior year. In 2002, she received the Four Year Goals Award for Goal IV, building of community as a Christian value. 

Channing went on to earn a BA from New York University and a JD from Washington College of Law at American University. After law school, she worked as a labor and employment lawyer for 7 years at the American Federation of Teachers (AFT). At AFT, Channing represented the interests of a variety of workers, including teachers, healthcare workers, public employees, and graduate teaching assistants. She is currently in-house counsel at Tessemae's, an organic salad dressing and condiment company, owned by fellow Gator, Genevieve Vetter '02.  

Channing lives in D.C. with her chocolate bassador (basset hound/labrador mix), Oscar. She feels fortunate to remain close with so many of her Stone Ridge sisters. 
 

Sheryl Matthews Daniel '88

Sheryl Matthews Daniel graduated from Stone Ridge in 1988. She is currently pursuing a second career as a licensed clinical counselor after ending a 20+ year career as a brand marketer.  During her former career as a digital brand marketer, Sheryl developed expertise in paid and earned digital media, content development, SEO, online reputation, audience engagement and digital analytics working with organizations in healthcare, financial services, tech and social advocacy.  A job disruption caused by the recent Pandemic presented the opportunity to fully transition from a digital marketing career to a long held passion and years-long call to serve the community as a mental health practitioner.  Recognizing the need for spiritually sensitive and culturally relevant clinical practitioners in communities of color, Sheryl is pursuing a Master's Degree in Licensed Clinical Professional  Counseling.  In this new role, Sheryl will work to destigmatize mental health care and provide accessible relevant clinical therapeutic care to the many community members dealing with mental health issues.

Katy Dunn ‘94

Katy Dunn ‘94 is an educational counselor at PrepMatters.  PrepMatters is a premier provider of academic tutoring services, test preparation and educational planning, from one-on-one students in greater DC to online clients worldwide. Before joining PrepMatters, Katy was a counselor, teacher, and principal in schools throughout the DC area.

Susan Farnsworth '72

Susan graduated from Stone Ridge in 1972. Her undergraduate degree is from Connecticut College and her MPA from the Kennedy School, Harvard University. Susan has spent over 35 years in international development, starting as a Peace Corps volunteer in Senegal, where she worked on developing improved cook stoves to address deforestation.

After the Peace Corps, Susan worked for several non-profit international development organizations as Project Manager and in Executive positions, working on emergency relief efforts, development projects in health, small business, natural resources, girls education and programs in human rights. She has lived and worked in several countries, Mali, Niger, Somalia and Tanzania, and provided oversight to programs in countries around the world.

Although Susan retired from the day job, Susan has continued to support non-profits in the DC area through the Compass Project which provides pro bono technical support to the Metro area’s non-profit community.

Maggie Ferrenz ’05

Maggie graduated from Stone Ridge in 2005, having attended since 1st grade. Her SR claims to fame were winning the 1st grade Goal 2 award and the 12th grade Goal 3 award.  After high school, Maggie went to the University of Virginia where she studied Systems Engineering.  Maggie's first job out of college was at Northrop Grumman, a defense contractor, where she helped design control systems for naval ships.  While at Northrop, Maggie got a master's degree in Systems Engineering also at UVA, before taking off to get an MBA from Yale.

After business school, Maggie moved back to DC and worked for 5 years as a management consultant. In that role, Maggie traveled around the country (sometimes Canada, one time Australia!) helping companies identify issues with the way they operated, and then helping them fix those problems. Three years ago, Maggie put away her suitcase and started a career at Clark Construction. She now works in Clark's Strategy & Innovation group, helping the company figure out how to build better, faster, and more cost effectively.

Clarke Jamison '13

Clarke Jamison is a 2013 graduate of Stone Ridge and a proud Gold Team Member. During her four years at Stone Ridge, she was an active competitor on the Varsity Volleyball team, lettering all four years; and serving as captain her senior year. Clarke graduated from Spring Hill College in 2017 with a B.A. in Sociology and avidly coaches high school and club volleyball teams. 

In May 2021, Clarke graduated from The Howard University with a Master’s in Social Work focusing on working with communities and organizations and how they assist people. She serves as an Enrollment Coordinator and Social Worker for Howard University Middle School of Mathematics and Science. In her free time, she coaches club volleyball for SpikedCity DC and finds time to travel whenever possible.

Jessica Kane '97

Jessica Kane ’97 is a proud Gator and attended Stone Ridge for four years.  During that time, she played soccer, basketball, and tennis.  She served as Class President during her senior year and received the Four Year Commitment Award for Goal II, a deep respect for intellectual values.

After graduating from Stone Ridge, Jessica received her bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University and her law degree from George Mason University School of Law.  She joined the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in 2007 as an attorney-adviser and currently is a Disclosure Review Program Director in the Division of Corporation Finance.  In this capacity, she leads the Division’s important work reviewing transactional, periodic, and current reports in furtherance of the Division’s mission critical work to promote capital formation and protect investors.  Jessica also leads initiatives to monitor and enhance the effectiveness, relevancy, and transparency of disclosures.

Jessica previously served as Director of the Office of Credit Ratings, leading its work to oversee credit rating agencies registered with the SEC as NRSROs.  She led efforts on NRSRO examinations and related SEC annual reports, as well as monitoring initiatives and reports to Congress on competition, transparency, and conflicts of interest.  Before joining OCR, Jessica was the Director of the Office of Municipal Securities and played a leading role in the implementation and operation of the municipal advisor registration regime. 

Kaitlin Keena '07

Kaitlin is a 2007 Stone Ridge graduate and after playing lacrosse for The University of Notre Dame, she began her financial services career in Morgan Stanley’s McLean, VA Branch in 2013. She is a Certified Financial Planner®, a Family Wealth Advisor, and a second-generation Financial Advisor. Outside of work, Kaitlin enjoys staying active, running, design, and seeking out live music.

Kay DeFranceaux Leonard ’64

Kay DeFranceaux Leonard ’64 attended Stone Ridge for 7 years and was a weekly boarder during 8th grade and on and off through high school. She was a proud member of the Blue Team; was a recipient of the Father’s Club Award in 1963; was a regular helper in Mer. Mouton’s office, and was passionate about field hockey and the Drama Club.  

Kay worked in the satellite communications field for almost 30 years, working at the Public Service Satellite Consortium and then as Executive VP/GM of Beach Associates. After working as an independent satellite communications consultant for several years, she and her husband bought a gymnastics school on Kauai in HI and moved there to run it and be closer to one of their daughters and her two children. While on Kauai, Kay also became a REALTOR® selling over $45M in properties. After 15 years of owning/operating the gymnastics school, Kay and her husband recently sold their school and their home there, and moved back to Woodbine, Maryland where she will continue as a REALTOR®.

Kay has been a class rep for ’64 since graduating and was a past President of the Alumnae Board. 

Madeline McCormick '11

Madeline McCormick '11 attended Stone Ridge for four years where she was a student-athlete, Blue Team Captain, Math Club founder, and recipient of the Sacred Heart Award. Madeline graduated from Villanova University in 2015 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering. She then entered the Construction Industry in Washington, DC and currently works as a Project Manager at HITT Contracting in the Life Science & BioTech sector. She resides in Arlington, VA and loves being a part of the SR Alumnae Board!

Tonija Hope Navas '93

Tonija Hope Navas '93 was a spirited Gator for 4 yrs. During that time, she served as captain of the Blue Team and head of the Athletic Association. She was an active participant in student organizations that supported the anti-apartheid movement and environmental issues. Upon graduating from SR, Tonija attended Macalester College in St. Paul, MN where she double majored in Spanish/Latin American Studies. She studied abroad in the Dominican Republic and soon after graduation moved to South Africa where she worked at the University of Cape Town.  After returning to the US, Tonija worked for proud SR parent, Jose Andres, for 12 years supporting the development of what is now ThinkFoodGroup. Taking a turn, she left the restaurant industry to commit herself full time to international education and completed a master’s degree at George Washington University in Tourism Administration with a concentration in International Education. She joined the Phelps Stokes Fund working on the State Department’s International Visitor Leadership Program and then served as its Director of Latin American Programs & Special Projects. Since 2015 she has served as the Director of the Ralph J. Bunche International Affairs Center at Howard University where she leads the university’s comprehensive internationalization process, oversees study abroad and the day-to-day operations of the Charles B. Rangel, Thomas R. Pickering, and Donald M. Payne Fellowship Programs. A commitment to a “Social Awareness that Impels to Action” was instilled in her as a student at Stone Ridge and her work at Howard University is a continuation of this commitment. Tonija has two children, lives in Washington, DC and is working towards her PhD in Higher Education Leadership and Policy Studies at Howard University.

Isabella Richardson ’15

Isabella Richardson ’15 was a “lifer” spending 14 years at Stone Ridge and remains a proud member of the Blue Team. During her years at Stone Ridge, she spent four years on the varsity lacrosse team and served as a captain her senior year.  Isabella graduated from Washington College in 2019 with a B.A. in political science and a minor in business.  In addition, she also spent four years playing NCAA D3 lacrosse.

In May of 2022, Isabella graduated from The Catholic University Columbus School of Law where she served as the Justice of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, the President of the Criminal Law Society, and the Social Media Coordinator of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society. In addition to these activities, Isabella completed internships with Carr Maloney, The Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s Office, and The Honorable John M. Maloney in Montgomery County Circuit Court.  Isabella is currently a candidate for the July 2022 Maryland Bar Exam (results pending) and upon admission intends to practice here in Maryland. She is currently serving as a Law Clerk to the Honorable David A. Boynton in the Montgomery County Circuit Court. Additionally, Isabella is a proud member of The Montgomery County Maryland American Inn of Court.

In her free time she coaches the Next Level ‘2029 girls lacrosse team which has seven Stone Ridge Sixth Graders!

Toni Rodriguez Roberts ’92

Maria Antonia (Toni) Rodriguez Roberts ’92 comes from a long line of Sacred Heart Alums. Her mother attended the school in Havana, Cuba and Noroton in Darien, Connecticut in 1957, and her grandmother also attended the school in Havana, Cuba. Toni has worked for the FBI since 2003 and is a Senior Leader in the IT Infrastructure Division. Previously, she worked as a forensic scientist for 17 years at the FBI Laboratory and has published over a dozen research articles in the field of latent fingerprints. She is a graduate of the DOJ's Leadership in Excellence Achievement Program (LEAP), a succession planning program for future leaders.

Prior to her employment with the FBI, she worked as a researcher at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research and as an Adjunct Faculty member at St. Mary's College in Maryland in the Biology department. She has an MS degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from Florida State University, and a BS degree in Biology from UMBC.  Right before graduate school, she lived in Bolivia and volunteered at Para Los Ninos Orphanage and at Andean Rural Health.

She enjoys travel, stand up paddling, and time with her family and dogs. She is a proud blue team member!
