Extended Day

Stone Ridge offers after school care in the Lower and Middle Schools.

Lower School - Extended Day

  • Operates after school Monday through Thursday until 5:30 p.m., Fridays until 5:00 p.m.
  • For students in Pre-K - Grade 4.
  • No hourly or daily drop-in option available. 
  • Options: Annual, monthly or pre-selected/pre-registered specific days.
  • Discounted rates if you sign up for the full year or full month.
  • 2024-2025 Extended Day Full-Year Registration will open on May 1 at 9:00 a.m. On June 1, we will open registration for the remaining spaces to families that will only need care for specific months or specific days of the week. Registration will be on a first come first serve basis by the 15th of each month prior to the month childcare is needed.
  • A late fee of $2.00 per minute is assessed when students are picked up later than 5:30 pm (Monday-Thursday) or 5:00 p.m. (Friday). The late fee will be charged to your credit card on file. 
  • There is no Extended Day on inclement weather early dismissal days/snow days.
  • Extended Day will operate until 1:00 p.m. on some Early Release days. Advanced online registration will be required.

  • 2023-2024 Pricing: Yearly: $3236; Monthly: varies from $40-$405 (depending on number of days of Extended Day in the month)

Middle School - Extended Day Program

  • Operates after school Monday through Thursday until 5:30 p.m., Fridays until 5:00 p.m.
  • For students in Grade 5-8.
  • Students must be enrolled in an after-school activity, enrolled in Extended Day, or picked up by the end of dismissal.
  • We are able to accommodate a limited number of drop-ins in the Middle School Extended Day program. We ask that parents contact Ellen Saltzman by 10 am on the day care is needed.
  • Options: Annual, monthly or daily.
  • Discounted rates if you sign up for the full year or full month.

  • 2024-2025 Extended Day Full-Year Registration will open on May 1 at 9:00 a.m. On June 1, we will open registration to families that will only need care for specific months or specific days of the week.
