Piper Suk '20
Congratulations to alumna Piper Suk '20 who has won a position as a substitute cellist with the New World Symphony for the 2022-2023 season. Musicians in the substitute pool are called to augment the orchestra for larger works or to replace NWS musicians taking time off during the season. The New World Symphony is a post-graduate fellowship program, co-founded by artistic director Michael Tilson Thomas and Ted and Lin Arison. The New World Symphony plays at the New World Center, located in Miami Beach, FL. ☀️
Piper '20 is starting her junior year at the Cleveland Institute of Music, and studies Cello Performance with Sharon Robinson. This past summer she attended the Aspen Music Festival.
