We Speak Your Names Prayer Service

Middle and Upper School students participated in the annual “We Speak Your Names” prayer service in their advisory groups and assembly this morning, respectively. “We Speak Your Names” is a solemn time when the names of enslaved people who were bought and sold by the Society of the Sacred Heart in Louisiana at Grand Coteau, St. Michael's Convent, and the School of the Religious of the Sacred Heart in Natchitoches are read aloud.

Our Beloved Mrs. Cleary

For 50 years, Mrs. Cleary was the welcoming face of Stone Ridge. Sitting at her command center of the reception desk in Hamilton House from 1969-2019, she welcomed our visitors, directed daily foot traffic, and kept the phones in order. She was the connection of our building to the community, greeting five decades of Stone Ridge students and community members and making everyone feel that they had arrived at their home away from home.
