Katie Ledecky

At Panasonic's Tech Talk during CES 2020, Stone Ridge Alumnae and five-time Olympic gold medalist and 15-time World Champion swimmer Katie Ledecky '15, along with Panasonic of North America, announced the launch of her STEM education program, "Katie Ledecky's Dive Into STEM Education powered by Panasonic." The digital program delivered to schools is aimed at enabling and encouraging students to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

The 2019 Toyota U.S. Open was held at the Georgia Tech McAuley Aquatic Center from December 4-7. Mixed in the crowd of National Team athletes were 27 Olympic medalists, including Stone Ridge alumna, Katie Ledecky ‘15. All eyes, however, were on current SR Senior, Phoebe Bacon ’20, after she surprised many by beating Regan Smith, the current world record holder, in the 100 meter backstroke final.
